What the Best Have to Say
Unless you saw the before of my horse I don't think you could understand the after. She was your typical "barrel horse." It took at least one person to drag her into the arena, I couldn't warm her up with anyone else, she would stop and plant her butt behind the barrel in the middle of a run. It was a nightmare. I was to my last straw. Then, I met Bob and he offered some help. I took my mare down to St. George with me over New Years for 5 days. We only worked with her 3 out of the 5 and you would not know she was ever the demon horse of the pasture. It wasn't that Bob whispered to her or even rode her. He showed me how to relax her, and let her enjoy the event again. People cannot believe it, and frankly, I still can't sometimes! It's amazing what some softening exercises and relaxing can do!
Thanks so much Bob!

I've got a young stud colt under Bob right now. In three sessions Bob had him running backwards, side passing, sliding to a stop, impressive. I've never seen anything like that. My dad is a horse trainer and I would never think that you could train a horse the way this is happening. This horse is going to be for my little girl so I like how he doesn't fire horses up. It's just a great system and it works.

Riding with Bob we have learned a lot. Much more than we thought we would learn in a few days. I like that Bob believes in discipline. So many guys won't be straightforward that you have to get after your horse. If a horse is kicking at me I want to know it's okay to kick back. Some say you have to kiss, pet, and baby these animals while they are walking all over you. The other thing I really like is that he takes time to explain in detail what is happening. He doesn't expect you just to know. That is what makes a good trainer and teacher.

Logan's Column Should be a book.

I Know very little about horses. I see one and say "Yup, that's a horse" or "that is a brown horse." Even so, I really enjoy Bob Logan's "Horse Sense". I wish I'd read it years ago. It would have made raising children a whole lot easier.
Mr. Logan should write a book entitled "Training Horses and Rearing children: The Gentle Yet Firm Approach." I guarantee it would be a best seller.

Mr. Logan,
“Finally! A magazine combining reining training and barrel racing….Barrel Racing to Win …you have it together! After reading the first two issue from cover to cover I found it to be easy reading and the content straight forward. As a barrel racer for over 25 years I learned something new from each issue. Best of luck to all!”

Dear Bob,

Thank you so much for the great job you did on my mare. I had reached a point in my life with my mare that I was ready to sell her. I couldn’t even lead her around without her walking all over me and being disrespectful. She didn’t like me and I was beginning to not like her. She was way out of control. When she tore the ligaments in my knee I knew it was time for me to do something. I knew the potential in this mare and didn’t want to give up on her.

When I took her to you I was amazed at the difference you made it wasn’t even the same horse. She now has respect for me. No one can believe it is the same horse either. I am running barrels on her and she is fulfilling all my dreams. She is a great part of our family and we wouldn’t trade her for nothing. Love your magazine, it gives me a guide on how I need to train my horse, and fix problems that arise, during my barrel racing runs. Thanks you again.
